Rachel Martin, she/her
Rachel has spent the past decade creating the Cultural Coherence model for antiracist practice.
She is trained in body-based trauma healing modality Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which she draws on in her work.
Rachel received an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin – Stout in 2014, where she focused on race, culture, and healing under the mentorship of Terri Karis and Larry Tucker.
In 2018, Rachel began facilitating under the mentorship of Resmaa Menakem, and launched an antiracist community of practice for white people. This community is the foundation for Cultural Coherence.
Julia Sisson, she/her
Julia is an artist and problem solver who oversees operations at Cultural Coherence including web development and accounting. She also works on content creation for the organization, including graphic design, video, and user experience. She began work with Cultural Coherence in 2019.
Prior to Cultural Coherence, Julia worked as a sculptor and video artist, as the Jobs, Education, and Finance Coordinator at Tubman, and as a Financial Wellness Coach and Coordinator at EMERGE Community Development.
